Jazz singer and singer-songwriter, Engu Song, has a unique background as she is the first in Korea to simultaneously work as a salsa singer with the Cuban Traditional Orchestra. Her history is distinctive and hard to find, and she has released three single albums. Engu Song received remarkable reviews from world-renowned musicians such as Jd. Walter and Wolfgang Puschnig. Engu Song is currently working on a new project that combines Korean music and jazz. Additionally, she is a pianist with a classical piano major. Her sound is distinctive, encompassing Latin, jazz, traditional Korean music, and even classical elements. The video features her live performance from last summer in Seoul, where she beautifully integrates the jazz standard "Angel Eyes" with the enchanting aspects of Argentine tango and Spanish tango in the first half. The latter part of the video showcases her arrangement, incorporating the characteristics of Cuban timba, during the performance.
